The Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering was established in 1999 with an initial intake of 60 students.
With increase in demand, intake capacity is now raised to 90. The
Department has a highly qualified faculty comprising of one Professor, two Associate Professors and four Assistant Professors.
The department is presently offering a four year Degree course in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, wherein an eight semester mode in teaching programme is pursued.
In addition practical & advanced module training with greater emphasis on personality and extra curricular development essential for managerial skills is offered and implemented vigorously. Students potential for creative and innovative activities is nurtured in the form of many practical projects during 4 year tenure at the institute.
The department has well equipped laboratories of its own with considerable support from other departments such as Electronics, IT and Computers. The main laboratories within the preview of the department are : linear control systems, Industrial process control, Fuzzy systems, EMI, EMMI, EMEC, E.T. and power control.
The results of this Department are outstanding with many securing between 1st and 3rd rank in the university.
